TteS Petro Canada (Two Locations) and Carwash (Kamloops)
Kamloops Indian Band Utility Corp. (KIBUC) manages both Tk̓emlúps Petro-Canada gas stations and the community car wash.
The Powwow Trail location, originally launched in 2004 as Tk̓emlúps Petroleum, was one of TteS’s first revenue-generating ventures. In 2012, it was rebranded to Petro-Canada to remain competitive in a growing fuel market. This self-serve station at the corner of Shuswap Road East and Highway 5 features a convenience store, Indigenous clothing, gifts and accessories, and an ATM. This location was a finalist for the 2024 Kamloops Chamber of Commerce’s Business Excellence Award in the Indigenous Business Excellence category.
The Chief Louis Crossing location builds on the strong performance of the original site and is the second Tk̓emlúps-owned gas bar. With convenient access just across the highway, this modern site features eight fueling lanes, four pumps, and a 3,000 sq. ft. convenience store fully stocked with on-the-road essentials—plus extras like M&M Food Market Express meals, an ice cream bar, and Indigenous giftware.
