We are pleased to introduce the new Sc.wén̓wen logo, representing a unified brand that reflects the collective work and shared direction of the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc business portfolio.
Our name, Sc.wén̓wen, is drawn from the Secwépemc word for morning, embodying the spirit of renewal and opportunity.

As the business arm of Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc (TteS), we represent the combined efforts of several corporations working together to support community prosperity. This includes TteS-owned businesses such as Sweláps Market, Chief Louis Pharmacy, and both Petro-Canada locations, along with Sc.wén̓wen Economic Development Corporation, Sc.wén̓wen Land Development (formerly KIBDC), Tk̓emlúps Contracting, and Tk̓emlúpsemc Forestry.
As our portfolio has grown and diversified, the name Sc.wén̓wen Economic Development no longer fully reflected the breadth of our work. Moving forward, we will operate publicly under the unified brand Sc.wén̓wen, which better represents the full scope of the corporations working together under this umbrella. Our new logo symbolizes this strengthened alignment and shared direction.
This shift provides clearer connection across all corporations while preserving the unique identity and operational focus of each entity. It does not change the legal structure of any corporation. Rather, it strengthens cohesion, improves clarity, and more accurately reflects the collective impact of TteS’s economic development.
Through this unified approach, we will continue advancing initiatives that generate revenue, create employment opportunities, and support long-term prosperity for Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc.
